Another speedy one. I am loosing patience faster and faster these days.
This one is based off a model I came across on Deviant Art I will get her name and give her a credit.
Deviant art is awesome, because there are a lot of talented photographers there and you can actually ask them to let you draw from their images.
So I am not sure if I did any justice to the girl, but at least I had fun and smoked about 25 percent less than usual while doing this.
On the kitchen front, the cogs are moving, I finally got the doors on all the cabinets, and, hopefully the rest will be finished in a matter of months!I do not think I ever posted a photo on the blog, but once this is finished, i will have to share it here :)

I just read that Sony plans to make a CG 3-D Popeye movie. If they're smart, they'll hire you to design the characters since you draw them better than ANYONE!

One thing I realised this morning, is that I should let my work cook a bit before I post it here, or at least sleep on it before I do.
I wish i did not post this.
The image is horrible, stiff and everything in it is simply falling apart.
I wish I could take it down, but unfortunately I made it my policy- once I put it up, it stays up as an example of how bad can I get!

I would love to get involved in something like that ( and for some weird reason- drawing Popeye fills me up with unexplainable levels of energy and adrenaline :))but I think I have better chances at winning lotto than getting a gig at Sony or any one of the big houses for that matter.
I do feel massively down and depressed this morning, so I will probably regret saying this (and some people might think I am an attention whore) but in the moments like this I feel like I am lucky enough to have a job even at the bottom of the food chain, and that anyone is willing to give me money to draw at all.
So before I say even more depressed stuff, I will depart from here.

don't be so hard on yourself Milenko, it's a really nice sketch! I always do the same as well though...Give it a couple more days (or weeks normally in my case!) and you might be able to see it a bit more objectively.
Milenko...it is impossible for you to draw crap. There is always something in your sketches that sparks with life and design.
Ahhh, but you wouldn't be a true creative person if you didn't hate, then love, then hate, then love all your little offspring.
It's why you are always developing as a craftsman.
